From the rhino sanctuaries of Laikipia to the elephant herds beneath Africa's tallest mountain
This five-day safari combines two of Kenya’s most rewarding wildlife landscapes — the conservation strongholds of Ol Pejeta Conservancy and the elephant kingdom of Amboseli National Park.
Begin in the Laikipia highlands, where Ol Pejeta protects East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary and the last two northern white rhinos left on the planet.
Then journey south to Amboseli, where elephant herds move beneath the snow-capped silhouette of Kilimanjaro — Africa’s highest peak, rising just across the Tanzanian border.

You're met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to the Hilton Garden Inn, Nairobi, where you're booked for one night on a bed & breakfast basis — a smooth, unhurried start before the journey north begins tomorrow.
After breakfast, you drive north through Kenya's central highlands, where arabica coffee farms unfold beneath the Aberdare range. You arrive at Sweetwaters Tented Camp in time for lunch, followed by your first afternoon game drive across Ol Pejeta's plains.
Ol Pejeta holds the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa — over 100 individuals — and the world's only two surviving northern white rhinos, Najin and Fatu, whose story has captivated conservation efforts globally.
A full day given over to the conservancy — morning and afternoon game drives across Ol Pejeta's varied terrain. All meals and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp, full board.
After breakfast at Sweetwaters, you drive south into Nairobi for lunch, then continue further south into the afternoon. You arrive at Praro Amboseli Camp for two nights on a half board basis, as Kilimanjaro begins to dominate the horizon.
A full day in one of Kenya's most iconic landscapes — 392 km² sustained by two natural swamps fed by underground rivers from Kilimanjaro itself. Amboseli is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, nicknamed the "Home of the African Elephant" for herds that move daily between the mountain and the floating swamps.
Visitors often see dozens of elephants at once, making this one of the finest places in Africa for close-up elephant photography. Amboseli is also home to over 400 bird species. Morning and afternoon game drives, all meals and overnight at Praro Amboseli, full board.
After a leisurely breakfast, you depart Amboseli mid-morning and drive back to Nairobi, JKIA, for your homebound flight.
